FAQ

What is a Supper Club?

In our case, it's a small pop up restaurant with a set menu that we hope will tempt you to come and try our cooking as well as meet and mingle with other people who just love good cooking. Jennie and Caroline love cooking and entertaining and over the next few months we'll be offering dining experiences that we hope you'll not be able to find anywhere else.  We'll be offering locally sourced produce and working with local companies to bring you interesting menus and experiences.

Where is it?

The restaurant is in a private home and is held once a month. Once you've purchased a ticket you'll receive an email confirming all the details - we're keeping the location secret as we hope to pop up in a variety of different and unusual places.

What kind of food is it?
It's a good mix of all types of food, we're happy to cater to the vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs - just please make sure we know a few days before the dinner!  The menus will always have an element of the unexpected and perhaps foods that you wouldn't have chosen in a restaurant but perhaps always wanted to try.

Who cooks?
We both do!  Jennie's a trained chef and Caroline's a keen amateur who have been cooking and entertaining friends and family for as long as they can remember.  Sometimes we'll have guest chefs or courses made by specialists - we'll always let you know what's happening though.

How do I get a ticket?

We sell our tickets through We Got Tickets.  Each event will have a link that you can then purchase through.  Tickets are limited so if you see it, grab it!

Can I come on my own?

Of course!  It's communal dining at two large tables so everyone will be sat next to someone they don't know - that's part of the fun.

Last but not least - alcohol!
Essentially - it's bring your own - we'll always be providing a welcoming cocktail to give the evening a good start and water will be on the tables but please do bring your own wine - the menu for each event will be published way in advance so you can figure out what kind of wine you'd like to bring.  Luckily for you we'll be making this super easy as we're working with the wonderful Quaff Wines.  Fabian and Toby will put their brains together and match our food to a selection of wines per course.  They will also happily take your money and deliver the wine to us so that we can chill and breath the wines on your behalf.  If you're coming with friends or a partner think about buying a couple of different bottles between you so that you can have the full food experience - we recommend something for the main and then maybe a half bottle of dessert wine.
